Key West Dive Certification
RESORT COURSE: This one day program will have you scuba diving the coral reefs under the close supervision of your instructor after one class and pool session. This is a non-certification, experience only course.
SCUBA CERTIFICATION: Receive an internationally recognized certification in as little as 3 to 5 days. This course is designed to make you comfortable and confident in your skills as a certified diver. E-learning available on some courses.
REFRESHER PROGRAM: This program allows an inactive certified diver to update their skills and knowledge without having to retake a complete certification course. A morning class and pool review is followed by two afternoon coral reef dives.
OPEN WATER CHECKOUT/ REFERRAL: This service is available for customers who have completed their classroom and pool training at home and wish to do their certification dives in a warm tropical location.
ADVANCED OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION: Complete this course in advanced diving skills in 2 to 3 days. Hone your skills on deep, wreck, night and navigation dives with one of our experienced instructors.
DIVE MASTER, RESCUE AND SPECIALTY COURSES: These advanced courses are custom tailored to your needs, desires and time schedule. Call for additional information.

Blue Star Operater
Dive Key West, Inc. was the first dive facility in the Lower Keys to quality as a Blue Star Operator. This designation is awarded to operators who are dedicated to coral reef education and preservation. Bob Holston and Cece Roycraft the owners of Dive Key West have been involved in many initiatives for the preservation of the Florida Keys coral reefs for the past 44 years. They had the honor of being the citizens to go before Congress requesting the Keys be designated a National Marine Sanctuary. As Capt. Hook’s Dive Key West, we hope to carry on that tradition as new the owners.

Cancelation Policy. We understand your travel plans may change. With that in mind, Capt. Hook’s has a very simple cancellation policy: As long as you cancel outside of 24 hours there is NO charge. However, if you cancel within 24 hours or NO-SHOW the day of your class/course or trip we will be charging the full amount of the dives or 50% of the course/class. Thank you!
